Louise Mukakalisa is passionate about baking and owns a small business making donuts and Hibiscus juice from flowers she grows in her garden. She was inspired by Harambee’s problem solving module of the English Acceleration programme supported by Prince’s Trust International. Read More
Shortly after completing the Harambee Work-Seeker Support training, Yvonne started a business – growing food in recycled plastic bottles and cups using minimum soil. She collects bottles and yoghurt containers from Nduba Landfill in Kigali and plants vegetables such as green beans and tomatoes in those containers. Read More
Marylene Mukabalisa is a young entrepreneur and a change-maker in her community. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management at Vatel Rwanda. Marylene owns a coffee bar and fresh juice business called MIA, which means ‘Mine’ in Spanish. She serves coffee, smoothies, ice creams and fruit. Her business opened doors in January 2021 after taking part in programmes run by Harambee and Vatel. Read More
